Jessica Eun Kyoung Choi (she/her) is a Korean ceramicist based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
Inspired by fluidity of clay, her work largely focuses on creating abstract forms and textures by reimagining traditional methods, and continuously stretching the mediums to their limit.
Each of her work is handcrafted by her in small batches using the traditional wheel throwing technique and often manipulated by hand to form its unique organic shape.
She's constantly working on new designs that challenge her skills, and passionate about creating original, one of a kind pieces that feel authentic to her.
Eun Ceramics acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. Australia’s creative industries are enriched by 65,000+ years of tradition and culture, pioneered by First Nations people. Their deep engagement with craft, art and storytelling are the foundations of the vibrant and diverse design community we showcase every day. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
